The building project at 5 James Joyce Street for the new Dublin Buddhist Centre is going ahead at full steam! The builders are flying through the work, and expect the building to be finished in early- to mid-March. Then it’ll just be a case of putting in the floor, painting the place, and the new Buddhist Centre is ready to go!

The DBC Fundraising Raffle draw happened just before the X-mas break! And the prize-winners were:

Financial Update

Exactly three months after we launched the Liberty Corner Appeal it is fantastic to report that we have raised nearly two thirds of our target of €70,000. So far we have raised a total of €46,132 in pledges and donations from many of you who want to see our work continue far into the future. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!
Now we are asking those of you who have not yet made a donation to do so. We still need to raise €23,878 to help us put down a floor, put in partition walls, fit the space with toilets and a kitchen area. We really need your help to reach our target as soon as possible. The sooner you give (i.e. today!) the quicker we can start the building work, move out of our current location and not waste precious finances on paying rent as well as our mortgage.
