Marina Bilak, a Registered Practitioner with the Shiatsu Society of Ireland (RPSSI) is generously offering to give four shiatsu treatments in aid of the DBC new centre fund-raise.
Shiatsu is a non evasive therapy for relaxation, recovery and self-healing. It is a traditional form of body therapy from Japan. Literally translated ‘finger pressure’, shiatsu involves comfortable pressure from the thumbs and palms applied to the energy channels and points in the body. Given through loose, comfortable clothing, shiatsu may also include gentle stretches and rotations of the limbs and joints.
It can be used to treat many conditions of a physical, emotional, nervous, mental or psychological nature including:
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Headaches and migraines
- Backache
- Insomnia
- Anxiety and depression
- Irritability
- Grief and sadness
- Stress and fatigue
- Menstrual problems
- Digestive problems
- Bladder problems
- Arthritis and joint problems
- Respiratory problems
If you are interested in receiving a Shiatsu treatment from Marina please contact her for more details on (01) 662 3297 or (086) 100 3366. Cost per treatment €60 - all proceeds going to the new centre appeal. Thank-you Marina!
