The Saddharma Pundarika or White Lotus Sutra is a Buddhist work dating from the 1st centre (CE). It has been described as one of the most important of all Mahayana Sutras and is said to speak the language of images, stories, myth and symbol. Its scope is as universal as sci-fi while its meanings are as personal and unfolding as infinitely blooming flowers…
Pavara and Greg O’Brien will facilitate the day’s reading which will be punctuated by short meditations and lunch. So please, do come and join us for any or all of the event.
All donations gratefully received for this reading will go towards the Dublin Buddhist Centre’s new building appeal. You can donate on the day or by using this secure link.
Sunday 28th October 2007, 10am – 10pm. Venue: Dublin Buddhist Centre.
