Appeal

The new premises is currently a concrete shell which needs complete refurbishment and we really need your help to change it into a beautiful and peaceful urban space.

With your financial help we can:

Fit out the centre with the essentials - electrics, heating, flooring, kitchen and toilets.
Have the centre architecturally-designed according to our meditation, yoga, reception and office area needs.
Decorate the centre to create a pleasing and calm oasis in an increasingly built-up city.

Without financial help:

We only generate a little excess income every year. So without financial help it will take at least ten years to change the new premises into a beautiful and peaceful urban space to be enjoyed by everyone attending the centre.

Our appeal is urgent!

We have secured a commercial mortgage for the premises, committing in the process all our financial reserves. We can only afford to pay rent on our current address and a mortgage on our new home until March 2008, at the latest.

This means that the Dublin Buddhist Centre must renovate and relocate to our new home within the next year. We need at least the basics (electrics, plumbing, floors etc.) in place by this time and we need your financial support, right now, to do this.
